The last three semi-try to look fashionable events have seen me wearing basically the same look.

        1. hat
        2. bare legs
        3. t-shirt
        4. sandals


I am fairly confident that this will be be my casual uniform for summer.
Whenever I wear shorts I feel like a kid in middle school, so my intellectual level and outfit match.
And as I age the shorts get longer...just like the sleeves on my tops :)
Also I always try to wear a hat because I've got so many of them ( I even bought another one in Laguna ).

So this is my go to fashion look for summer 2013.

Hope I don't run out of shorts or hats....

Another semester is over and I have all of three weeks off before summer school. Hope I am not a lazy fashion constipated mess all summer! Maybe my new edgy ombre hair will inspire me...that's the plan anyways :)

Hallelujah I made it through another semester! Today was the last day of classes and now there is just a final and then a blissful three weeks off until summer school.

My favorite work outfit: t-shirt and a denim skirt with comfy shoes. The t-shirt is from Paris and has a great lace inset from the front shoulders across the upper back BUT, it still has sleeves :)

Mothers Day 2013

Long overdue for a trip up to San Francisco. First stop was at a giant outlet mall in Camarillo and we only shopped in a few stores. There was a Kitson store and it was my first time ever in a Kitson store...

and I bought this FABULOUS book which is 475 photos of iconic looks from the 1800s to 2010.

When we reached San Francisco had a late afternoon shopping stop at my favorite charity store which I feared had closed forever but, was miraculously re-opened!

Bought my girlie the highly impractical fur vest just because she loved it so.

Then a mad dash to another couple shops before we called it a day.

It's always great to be in San Francisco!

more Mothers day

After goofing around all morning ( who can resist a Cable Car pose )

My girlie finally woke up and we got busy shopping.

But, I must admit I don't know which was more crazy...

the people watching

or the shopping...

 or the people watching...

and a little culture thrown into the mix.

Any day in San Francisco is full of surprises :)

and finally Mothers Day.

 We've all had days like this... wake up and wanna throw a bag over our head.  

Just never thought I'd actually see someone do it!

But, I wasn't having a bag day!

I was busy finally celebrating Mothers Days.

And then the wonderful, fantastic trip was over and all that was left was a looonng drive home the next morning ( with stops to pose for pictures ).

This was a phenomenal night of an open bar, celebrities, star performance and unparalleled fun!

It was the 2013 Race to Erase MS Fundraiser in Hollywood!

My BFF turned it into a girls night out with 6 free tickets.

There were so many celebrities it was a blast. I saw most of the Beverly Hills Housewives, Rod Stewart, Linda Gray, Lisa Rinna, Harry Hamlin, and many more I didn't even know...

Elton John was the performance and I stood about 20 feet away the entire time he sang!

Another most amazing part of the evening was the goodie bag. It was literally a wonderful bag with about 15 lbs of stuff inside it! From snacks, to beauty items, to jewelry, to oddities it was an unbelievable treasure trove.

If famous people enjoy evenings out like the Race to Erase MS on a regular basis it is no wonder they become desperate to stay relevant. 

Being peseudo-famous for a night was a blast!!

I really like this outfit but, looking at the picture I wish the pants were 3 inches longer. 

I NEVER wear capris and these pants are looking very capri-like. 

Capris just end at a most unflattering point on any legs.

And these pants are not very flattering :(

But, I love my bright orange blouse; the print is little white coffee cups.
